Low Blow

MTV's most watched show Jersey Shore is still being talked about, even despite it's January 21st season one finale. TMZ.com recently posted an article discussing MTV has being slammed with a new lawsuit concerning the memorable fight Ronnie had one night on the Jersey boardwalk. According to TMZ, the other couple who were supposedly provoking Ronnie and Sammie is claiming MTV edited the real footage to where the comments that were said by Ronnie and Sammie were cut out. This couple, Joshua Thomas and Kristin Perrenod, have stated that the original footage of the fight apparently has Ronnie spouting off "homophobic slurs and other insults before the incident became violent." This lovely couple also has the nerve to assert the fact that they were intoxicated to the point where they do not recollect signing the waivers MTV presented to them following the fight.

Yes, I will admit to participating alongside the millions of mindless people who actually set aside time to watch the Jersey Shore, so because of this unfortunate decision of mine, I was actually angered by this new information. This supposed couple who probably had five seconds of fame, and maybe a few hardcore battle wounds from Ronnie, most likely woke up one morning in the past couple of days and decided to screw MTV over. Joshua and Kristin are merely upset because they did not make more face time on the popular show. Their lawsuit for MTV is a cry for attention, not a campaign to restore their name. Each of their mothers should be ashamed on both the fact that Joshua and Kristen were drunk on the boardwalks of Jersey and made a violent appearance on a MTV show, and now that they are trying to file a lawsuit over it. Tsk-tsk.
