They got the beat

This particular website is essentially what I wish my blog could be. It's mission is to sift through the "sausage" of the media, and give both the news and an analysis. They are trying to take what the media is throwing out there to us, and then making sure it is both true and worth knowing about. It has won several awards for their reporting and such.

I like how they have several topics on the side of the site that allow you to choose what you can look through; if you only care about the movies, click on the movies. Surprisingly, it is only run by a handful of people who are responsible for sifting through all the news. It's crazy stuff!
